Bira
This is probably the most popular beaches in Bulukumba. The long stretch of white sandy beach, with crystal clear water, is the main attraction here. You can see the beautiful gradation of colors from the white sand to the blue open sea. With calm and clear water, this beach is a fun place for snorkeling.
Kaluku Beach
This beach is a lovely place. It has a rather vast coconut orchard with white sand soil, making it a great place to chill. As for the actual beach, the place is mesmerizing, especially during sunrise. Located at Bonto Bahari, Bulukumba, Kaluku is actually quite close to Tanjung Bira.
Ujung Tiro Beach
This beach is beautiful in its own way. This is not your usual tropical beach as Ujung Tiro is a rocky beach with a small island just by the coast. There is a small bridge that connects the islet to the mainland. This place is simply a haven for photographers.
Pusahelu Beach
This is a relatively pristine beach, still yet to be touched by any tourism improvement. Pusahelu Beach has a small white sandy part where you can relax and enjoy the scenery. There are a vast shallow water area and some rocky nooks to pose for a great pic.
Kasuso Beach
This is another white sandy beach with a small, mushroom-like rock island. With calm waters and soft sand, you can enjoy this place to wind down and set your mind free. Kasuso beach also has a wonderful sunset view, making it a great destination for a romantic vacation.
Bara Beach
The Beach is another classic tropical beach. It has a long stretch of white sand, turquoise shallow water, and lovely palm trees. This beach is great for water activity, but if you feel like doing nothing, you can just sit on one of the many benches under the palm trees. Enjoy the unobstructed view of the horizon.
Lemo-lemo Beach
Lemo-lemo beach located on Bonto Bahari District. You can enjoy the beach atmosphere by relaxing under the protection of the trees, or you can play a little on its waters. There is a cave near this beach where you can find a freshwater spring in it.
Mandala Ria Beach
This beach got its name from when the Indonesian Navy was trying to liberate West Papua from the Dutch colonial rule. The Mandala Operation orders 24 ships in this beach. Long white sand beach and several small caves are waiting to be explored here.
