Location and How to get there
Bokori Island is located at the edge of Kendari Bay. Administratively, this island is part of Soropia District, Konawe Regency. There are several ports that can get you from mainland Sulawesi to Bokori, the main one is Bajoe Village Port. It is a short boat ride that only takes minutes to complete. The tickets are ranging from IDR15K to 20K per person.
The Beaches
Since Bokori is a small island with magnificent white sand coasts, you can find a great beach wherever you go. Walk through the coast, and you will be enjoying the great panorama with soft sand beneath your feet. You can ask the boatmen to get you from one corner of the island to the other if you don’t feel like walking. In some places, you can also find decks that face the mainland Sulawesi.
