Kerobokan is a residential/retreat territory in southwestern Bali, to the east of Canggu and west of the upscale area of Seminyak. In spite of the more urban scene compared to the neighboring resorts, Kerobokan essentially shares the wonderful blend of world-class culinary venues and the wonderful resorts that you can usually find in Canggu and Seminyak.

Here you’ll see a decent blend of modern advancement, luxurious lifestyle, and several beaches. Most tourists know Kerobokan has dark sand beaches and surf breaks at Berawa. You can also easily see the contrast at Kerobokan. There are commercial centers, rice fields, and in a few places, some traditional Baliniese houses.

This is a surfing school based in Kerobokan. This school has several professional instructors who teach surfing techniques to absolutely everyone. Adults and children with various skill levels can all learn at this school.
Surf classes are presented in various camps led by professional surfers such as Ryan Hardy and Michael Eppelstun. Instant courses usually last for 2 hours It starts with the pick-up from the hotel, then leave for Canggu, briefing and warming up, and then learning about surfing in the water.
Batubelig Beach
In the local language, Batubelig means slippery Stone. This beach is a direct connection between Kerobokan and Seminyak. This black sand beach offers not only good scenery but also many upscale restaurants that can be an alternative when you don’t want to go to Seminyak. The sunset here is also very beautiful.
Berawa Beach
This beach is often referred to as part of Canggu because of the proximity of the area. This beach also has black sand with quite calm scenery. You can find many surfers who try to ride the waves on this beach. Like other beaches in Kerobokan, this beach also offers stunning sunset views.
Petitenget Beach
This beach is more often referred to as part of Seminyak. Compared to other beaches, the beach is quite quiet with golden sand. The waves here are large enough so the waters are not ideal for swimming.
In this coastal area, there is a temple with the same name. This temple is one of the most important in Kerobogan even though its existence began to be overshadowed by fast-growing housing and infrastructure development.
Kerobokan is located among some of the main tourist destinations in South Bali. Even though it lacks fascinating tourist attractions like Seminyak and Canggu, Kerobokan is a reminder that life in southern Bali is not just about tourism. Next
